We visited Ireland again last year when we stayed in Waterford. We sang in Holy Cross Church, Tramore on the Sunday night to raise funds for the church roof - the church was built on high ground overlooking Tramore in 1856 and now the tiles on the roof need renewing. The sum of €700 was collected towards the fund. More recently we have just held our annual concert where we welcomed our new president Dai Jones, Llanilar. He compered the evening and introduced our guest artistes Aled Wyn Davies and Gwawr Edwards. We had another joint concert with Tenby, Pembroke and Haverfordwest choirs for charity in the Tenby Leisure Centre on the 19th September as part of the Tenby Arts Festival. We visited Cornwall in October when we sang in St Mary’s church in Penzance on Sunday October 18th with the Marazion Apollo Choir and the next day sang at the Eden Project.
